| AIR
TRANSPORTATION
|
It will be scheduled on a commercial airliner at the school's
discretion, economy class, to and from Ontario/LAX/Long Beach Airport, California.
|
| LODGING
|
Comfort Inn & Suites College Park, Maryland.
|
| MEALS
AND SIGHTSEEING
|
Included are three meals per day and a comprehensive sightseeing
schedule. The total price also includes all entrance fees, guides, and
tips as needed.
|
| LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION
|
Will be provided by the Columbia Union College motor coach and the local
Metro System. Limited bus seating requires that reservations be made on
first-come first-serve basis.
|
| ITINERARY
CHANGES
|
The trip's leader reserves the right to make any changes in the
itinerary where deemed necessary. The price quoted is based on current
guaranteed prices from suppliers.
|
| FINANCIAL
CLEARANCE
|
ALL school accounts MUST be up-to-date by the date of the trip for the
student to receive financial clearance from the LSA Business Office.
Students without financial clearance will not be permitted to
travel.
|
|
*EARLY TRIP TERMINATION |
If a student is sent home early for
disciplinary reasons the parents or guardians of the student are
will be held responsible for 100% of any additional costs involved.
Decision to terminate a student's trip earlier will be at the
discretion of the trip coordinator and school official(s).

CHAPERONE & ADULT PRICING |
Chaperone and Adult price is: $1,375.00. Add $350. if
requesting a single room.

| WAIVER
AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
|
All participants individually and jointly release La Sierra Academy, Jr.
High, and Elementary School and their agents from any and all liability
and all responsibility, known and unknown, present and future, for any
and all loss, injury to person, damage to property, or accident, or
which may be the result of any delay or change of itinerary, or
irregularly connected with the services offered, which is the result of
any cause beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of
God, transportation problems, fire, machinery or equipment malfunction
or failure, government actions, wars, civil disturbances, labor
disputes, riots, thefts, sickness, or weather, which includes all
expenses or damages, direct or consequential, claimed or sustained.
Participants waive all rights under section 1542 of the Civil Code of
California, and waive all claims against La Sierra Academy, Jr. High,
and Elementary School and their agents, based on any claim of negligence
by any of the suppliers of services to this trip. This release is
binding upon all participants, their representatives, heirs and assigns.
La Sierra Academy, Jr. High, and Elementary School reserve the right to
refuse to accept or retain any person as a participant on the trip, and
may remove such person from the tour at any point, in which event said
person shall be entitled to a refund of the recoverable unused services
applicable to his trip package, if any, less all applicable cancellation
charges and penalties.

Laundry, valet, local and long distance calls, or other items of
personal nature. Excess baggage fees and insurance charges.

* Zero-Tolerance Rules:
Student opening his/her room door from curfew time (evening) till
morning (6:00AM) / Boys visiting girls' rooms and vice-versa / using
alcohol / smoking / drugs / stealing / engaging in unlawful
activities. |
