TUITIONS & FEES
(2008-2009) |
|
The
La Sierra Academy Board pledges to keep tuition and fees as low
as is consistent with good fiscal management.
La Sierra Academy reserves the right to adjust charges
for tuition and fees at the second semester should unstable
economic conditions warrant such adjustments. |
|
Tuition
Rates
The
yearly tuition costs represent the total cost of educating each
student in the respective grades for the entire year. The monthly
installment plan is designed to help parents spread the cost of
tuition over 10 months and does not intend to quantify an
"amount" of education each month. Installments are due on the
10th of each month, starting August 2008. When the 1oth falls on
a holiday or weekend, tuition is due the following regular
business day. |
|
Tuition
Refund
The
first tuition payment of each semester (August and January) will
be prorated for withdrawal within the first TEN days of the
semester. All other installment payments (September - December
and February - May) will be fully refunded or charges reversed
if the student withdraws before the 15th of the month. Tuition
will not be prorated for late registrants who enroll within the
first ten school days of each semester. Tuition and fees charged to
international students are non-refundable after the first ten
days of school. |

Non-Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Tuition payments do not cover the full cost of operating La Sierra
Academy. Members of the local Seventh-day Adventist Churches support
Adventist education with substantial subsidies. La Sierra Academy
reserves the right to charge higher rates for students who are not
members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. |
